Getting there:

The house is easily reached from palermo airport via the A29 motorway to Castellammare.  It is situated about half way between Castellammare and the village of scopello overlooking a valley known as Fraginesi.

Ryanair fly directly from London Stanstead to Palermo on a daily basis (twice daily in summer).  Easyjet has just introduced a new route to Palermo from London Gatwick and Alitalia provide an alternative means of getting to Palermo but you would need to change in Milan or Rome.

A car will be required for your holiday.  All the major car hire companies including Avis, auto-europe and Europcar operate from Palermo airport.

Local train connections from Castellammare will take you directly to Palermo and other nearby towns.
